A Yahrzeit is a day of great importance; it is a special time of taking stock, and a day when one is granted new and fresh inspiration. Each year on the day of the Yahrzeit, the soul of our loved one is elevated to greater heights through the good deeds of their relatives below.

A yahrtzeit candle is customarily lit on the eve of the Yahrtzeit. It is also traditional to recite Kaddish at Shul on the Yahrtzeit and give charity in memory of your departed loved one.

Please join us at the Synagogue. If you can’t make it let us know and Rabbi Brikman will arrange for someone to say Kaddish for your loved one.
